DID YOU KNOW? RH TESTING IS THE ONLY RELIABLE METHOD FOR ASSESSING A CONCRETE SLAB'S MOISTURE CONDITION
Most floor failures are a result of improper moisture testing, or lack there of, prior to installation. Flooring manufacturers recognize two quantitative methods, ASTM F1869-Standard Test Method for Measuring Moisture Vapor Emission Rate of Concrete Subfloor using Calcium Chloride and ASTM F2170-Standard Test Method for Determining RH in Concrete Floor Slabs using in Situ Probes.
